Nadia Ahmed is a renowned dancer and TV actress in Bangladesh. She came to Bangladeshi media as a professional dancer, but gradually she makes herself as a popular actress, model, choreographer and stage performer too. So we can say that she is a jack of all trades in Media.

Childhood & Family

Nadia Ahmed was born in 31st August. Many of us don’t know that she was born in Iraq. But, her hometown is Pirojpur. Her father’s name is Najir Ahmed and her mother’s is Afroja Ahmed. She is the elder of two siblings. She married popular TV actor Monir Khan Shimul.

Nadia Ahmed was fond of dance from her childhood. She completed a course from Bangladesh Shishu Academy in a very little age. Then she took a course on Dance from BAFA which took 7 years to complete.


Nadia Ahmed started her journey in media by a dance program named ‘Shishumela’ in 1986. Then she got the title of “Little Star”. She learned acting from the child’s TV program “Notun Kuri”. She first acted in a drama named “Baro Rokomer Manush” in 1992. In this drama, she played the role of “Boichi” which was a popular character of that drama. Nadia Ahmed with his friend Likhon made an organization named “Nrittokothon” at Rampura where they teach children that how to dance.
